A mass march is being organized at the Jadavpur 8B premises today (July 20^th) from 17:00 in support of the students protesting in Delhi, against the State oppression on Sonam Wangchuk who is on hunger strike, with several demands – including the cancellation of NTA under the joint initiative of the Revolutionary Students’ Front (RSF) and various student youth and leftist organizations. We call upon all democratic, progressive, anti-fascist organizations and individuals to unite in the interest of the student community of the country, in the interest of a fair education system, against fascist aggression, and in favor of the just demands of the students.

Inde : Le militant écologiste Sonam Wangchuk hospitalisé de force après 20 jours de grève de la faim

 

Le militant écologiste indien Sonam Wangchuk a été évacué de force par la police puis hospitalisé à New Delhi après 20 jours de grève de la faim en soutien au « Parti des Cafards », un mouvement étudiant dénonçant les fraudes aux examens nationaux. Les autorités affirment avoir agi pour préserver sa santé, conformément à une décision de justice, tandis que ses proches dénoncent une intervention à caractère politique.

Malgré son hospitalisation, Sonam Wangchuk poursuit son jeûne et la marche prévue vers le Parlement est maintenue sous la conduite de son épouse. Son évacuation a ravivé la mobilisation, avec l’arrivée de nouveaux manifestants et la poursuite de la grève de la faim par plusieurs étudiants à New Delhi.
