Naxal leader brought to Gujarat, produced in court in 9-yr-old sedition case
Surat, Aug 26 (UNI) Naxal leader and member of banned outfit
CPI-Maoist, Kobad Ghandy, was brought to Gujarat in connection with a
nine-year-old sedition case and was produced in a court in Surat
district on Monday.
Joint Commissioner of Police Surat F G Patel on Monday said Ghandy was brought by train here from Jharkhand on a production warrant in connection with a case lodged in Kamrej police station here in 2010. He was produced in a court here as part of procedure and handed over formally to Surat police.
