CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) seizes 16 Hectares of Land

Kathmandu: Il Partito Comunista del Nepal (Maoista Rivoluzionario) ha occupato circa 25 Bigha (circa 16 ettari) di terre a Simarah, nel distretto 7 della municipalità Dudhauli, Sindhuli. Navin, il segretario del distretto di Sindhuli, ha dichiarato pubblicamente che la Terra di Ailani (terra non registrata), che era stata attribuita dal Regno Unito a Ratna Bahadur Tamang, originariamente residente nel Comune di Katari-3, e che Udayapur stava cercando di registrare a suo nome, è stata confiscata.

È stato reso noto che una squadra di maoisti rivoluzionari guidati dal segretario Navin ha occupato la terra issando la bandiera del partito nella terra con la partecipazione delle masse locali. Secondo il segretario Navin, il partito si sta preparando a distribuire quella terra ai contadini senza terra.

Navin ha detto che i senza terra erano lì da prima dell'inizio della guerra popolare, ma in seguito Tamang aveva cospirato per registrare la terra a suo nome e sgomberare le persone che vi stavano. Navin ha detto che Tamang ha persino speso enormi somme di denaro attraverso le mafie locali per corrompere l'amministrazione locale.

January 18, 2018. Kathmandu: The Communist Party of Nepal (Revolutionary Maoist) has seized about 25 Bighas (About 16 Hectares) of land at Simarah tole of Ward No 7, Dudhauli Municipality, Sindhuli. Navin, the Secretary of Sindhuli district, has publicly declared that the Ailani Land (unregistered land), to which UK settled Ratna Bahadur Tamang, who originally resided in Katari Municipality-3, Udayapur was trying to register in his name, has been captured.
It has been publicized that a team of Revolutionary Maoists led by the secretary Navin had seized the land by hoisting party flag in the land in participation of the local masses. According to secretary Navin, party is preparing to distribute that land to the landless people.
Navin said landless people had been staying there since before the initiation of people’s war but later Tamang had conspired to register the very land in his name and remove the landless people staying there. Navin said Tamang had even spent a huge amount of money through local land mafias to bribe the local administration.
