Il sito italiano "L'altra Tunisia" riporta la notizia di una protesta studentesca davanti all'ambasciata italiana in Tunisia, lunedì 4 dicembre. Questi studenti vogliono continuare i loro studi universitari in Italia, il Ministero degli Affari Esteri italiano richiede che tutti loro debbano superare un esame di livello linguistico B1 come precondizione per ottenere un visto per studiare.
Gli studenti hanno organizzato questa protesta perché avendo pagato corsi molto costosi al Centro Culturale Italiano di Tunisi, dopo aver pagato le tasse d'esame e dopo aver superato l'esame... si sono visti rifiutare il visto!
Nelle ultime settimane sui social circolavano storie di dipendenti dell'Ambasciata italiana in Tunisia responsabili del visto per studenti che facevano domande "strane" sull'età (es. "se hai 26 anni come mai vuoi andare a studiare?" ecc. ).
Gli striscioni nelle foto rivendicano il diritto alla dignità e al rispetto e il diritto allo studio, il diritto a un esame giusto (e non un esame di 30 secondi!) e non ultimo il razzismo dell'ambasciata italiana in Tunisia.
Quanto successo rientra nel quadro del modo d'agire dell’imperialismo italiano nei paesi oppressi dall’imperialismo come la Tunisia, dove l’imperialismo dietro parole come “accordi bilaterali”, “amicizie”, “legami culturali” e così via, vuole solo sfruttare le risorse del paese e della sua gente anche in modo meschino e "straccione"!
Students protest against Italian embassy in Tunisia for unjust visa refusals
“L’altra Tunisia” italian website reported about a student protest in front of Italian Embassy in Tunisia,
monday the 4th of December. These students want to continue their university studies in Italy, as Italian Minister of Foreign Affair requires all of them have to pass a B1 language level exam as a pre-condition to obtain a visa for studying.The students organized this protest because since they paid very expensive courses in Italian Cultural Center in Tunis, after having paid the exam fees and after having succeed in the exam… they have got their visa refused!
In the last weeks on social media were circulating stories about the Italian Embassy in Tunisia employe responsible for student visa asking and pretending “strange” questions about age (e.g. “if you are 26 how it comes you want to go to study?” etc.).
the banner in the pitcures claim the right of dignity and to be respected and the right to study, the right of a fair exam (and not a 30 seconds exams!) and last but not least the racism of Italian Embassy in Tunisia.
What happened its part of Italian imperialis attitude in oppressed countries by imperialsm like Tunisia, where imperialsm behind the words such as “bilateral agreements”, “friendships”, “cultural links” and so on, just wants to exploite the country resources and its people in a thief manner!
